Baker back to fundraising

In a post published to his Facebook page, County Executive Rushern Baker is already back to fundraising. It is unclear if the event is to pay off debt from the last campaign or to prepare for the next campaign.

In the most recent campaign filings Baker’s personal committee had just about 22,000 dollars in cash on hand but more than 247,368.11 dollars in debt.

His slate committee County 1 which he shared with Delegates Davis, Frush, and Gaines had only 6,600 in cash on hand and more than 65,000 dollars in debt.
